Longing For Connection In An Anti-Human World
I have lived long enough to recognize how many people are feeling numbed and disconnected and and they don’t know why.
It is essentially mammalian too long for connection and community, acceptance and approval and I suppose recognizing this, proves that humans are inherently good. However, this societal construct creates even more susceptibility to brainwashing of all kinds and the fact that technology has dug its nails into our programable minds instills even more of a disassociation between what is real and what is false.
The once embraceable concept of unity within our tribes, the purity of closeness and kinship has been replaced with modern day distance and separation, conceding that the majority of our association is offered online. Chasing belonging behind something that is distinctly false, a pronouncement of anti-nature and anti-human have left us disoriented.
We are all chasing something that doesn’t exist, behind a screen. A twisted inversion tricking us into believing we are unified and connected unlike ever before, when in reality, it is the subliminal messages and dopamine hits that drain our very essence and pull us further apart. Through the addiction to our screen, our most important connection to ourselves and our inner knowing is misplaced.
Unconsciously we are asked to follow not what we innately choose, but to chase a type of conformity, of followers of likes and ideas of influencers. We’ve been fooled to believe that our uniqueness sets us apart, but all I see are people coerced into clickbait and amazon storefronts.
This conformity I feel challenged to acquiesce is not to one of my choosing, but one of an illusion of choice from the algorithmic authorities.
We’ve lost the foundation of basic understanding, of being one with nature, of speaking face to face and growing our families within the secure attachment of a healthy community. The online temptations we allow into our minds are as clearly subtle as when our parents purchased a microwave or their parents brought home a new black and white television. Technological advancements have an insidious way of driving a wedge between our own truth and that of which our culture mandates we believe.
The time has come to live a life free of conformity and coercion and advance into our futures with a bold sense of optimism and the energetic excitement of being human and living the human experience. Consider the dreams you once had before tuning out, numbing out behind the newest release on Netflix and a fridge full of beer. The self control needed to disconnect from these weapons of mass distraction take a leap of faith towards the impossibly good that we've been lead to believe aren’t for us.
The truth is, we are meant to thrive. We are designed to be in union with abundance of creation. We are mean to feel exhilarated and fearless. Those small reverberations of comfort you feel when you help a stranger in person or visit a beach with no wifi. Those moments of witnessing joy in front of you, congruity in conversation, not in text.
Our nervous system relax with less and there is nothing but energetic clutter online.
The way forward is to become mentally self governed and free. Eradicate the synthetic illusions your brain has been trained to accept as reality and step back down, into your own embodiment, into the personification of humanity, abnegation from a system of hypnosis. As human, we die without contact. Our bodies deteriorate without touch. We’re meant to move at the speed of nature. Remember who you were before technology offered you a choice and you chose poorly.
